Head Start Substitute Cook - $17/hr

This position is for a Head Start Substitute Cook, responsible for preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and snack items to children and teaching staff at various on-site center-based sites. Duties include meal preparation, maintaining sanitation, ensuring food safety, and assisting with special events. The cook will work as a substitute, providing meals for both children and staff.

Requirements

• Prepare meals and snacks in accordance with program policies.
• Follow planned menu and report menu changes.
• Complete daily production logs and paperwork.
• Maintain kitchen and storage areas.
• Obtain and maintain Serv-Safe Certification.
