
Job description
Work as a Direct Care Worker in a social service setting, providing care and support to children and adolescents. The role involves meeting regulatory guidelines, documenting incidents, and assisting with orientation and treatment plans. The work schedule is 2nd or 3rd shift, and the position requires fluency in English and Spanish.
Provide direct supervision, teach life skills, and assist with homework assignments. Maintain a secure campus environment, promote positive interaction, and model culturally and socially desired behaviors. Implement safety protocols and maintain confidentiality.
This role requires 1-2 years of experience in the child welfare field, a high school diploma, and certifications in first aid, CPR, and emergency behavior intervention. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively, provide crisis intervention, and maintain emotional control in a fast-paced environment.
