Condon-Johnson & Associates is seeking a Geotechnical Project Engineer to assist in job site management, learn project management, and progressively assume project management responsibilities. The role involves reviewing project plans, attending meetings, and coordinating with team members.
Requirements
- Review and utilize project plans, specifications, stand specifications, and soils reports
- Review and understand project scope and budget
- Assist Project Manager to prepare all submittals and RFI’s
- Assist Project Manager in pre-planning field work
- Prepare and review project video and pictures prior to start of construction for any changes in conditions that are not noted on project plans
- Attend job handoff meetings with Project Manager, Estimator, and Superintendent, prior to job start
- Attend Weekly job site meetings, as required
- Coordinate with Project Manager to submit all close out documents including as-builts, warranty letter, O&M manuals, and punch list required to complete the project
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned
