Connecticut State Community College (CT State) is seeking a Campus Director of Disability and Accessibility Services to oversee accommodations and services for students with permanent and/or temporary disabilities, ensuring compliance with state and federal legislation.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Education, Special Education, Counseling, Psychology, Higher Education, or related field
- 2+ years of experience working with individuals with disabilities, including supervisory experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of disability laws, including ADA, Section 504, HIPAA, and FERPA
- Expertise in interpreting diagnostic assessments and understanding disability impacts
- Demonstrated intercultural competence and commitment to inclusive excellence
- Supervisory experience with staff and/or open-access student workers
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds
