Job Description
The High School Program Coordinator of Special Populations is a 12-month employee school-level leader who will support the school in driving academic and cultural outcomes for students and serve as a resource for teachers regarding student achievement, attendance, behavior, and Academic Integrity. The Coordinator will plan and implement programs designed to increase student academic achievement, and will be responsible for various administrative duties and special projects.
Requirements
- Valid teaching certification and GAPSC educational leadership certification or currently enrolled in a leadership program
- Must have received a rating of Effective or Highly Effective in the most recent performance reviews
- Valid teaching Georgia PSC certification and educational leadership certification or currently enrolled in a leadership program
- Previous experience in educational leadership, preferably as a teacher or coach
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional best practices
- Commitment to student success and teacher support
