Special Education Teacher - South Carolina Connections Academy

Working as a Special Education Teacher for South Carolina Connections Academy, you will manage instructional programs for students with special needs, utilize technology to deliver virtual instruction, and participate in all steps of the IEP process.

Requirements

• Degree in Special Education
• Valid Special Education credential in South Carolina
• Low-incidence or Self-contained teaching experience is preferred
• Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft Office products)
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Student and family focused approach
• High degree of flexibility
• Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced environment
• Team player track record
• Willingness to travel for school based event and state testing (may require occasional overnight travel)
• Must be able to use a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication
