Loan Underwriter - ON SITE

Connex Credit Union is seeking a Loan Underwriter to evaluate consumer and home equity loan requests, ensuring compliance with credit union practices and procedures. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of consumer underwriting experience, a Bachelor's degree, and strong knowledge of consumer underwriting guidelines.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of consumer underwriting experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
• Understanding of mortgage auditing and quality control process
• Ability to multi-task and must be detail oriented
• Strong knowledge of consumer underwriting guidelines
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Flexible working schedule
• Ability to work 40+ hours per week per assigned schedule
