Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and devoted individual to join our team as an OASIS Transcriptionist. As an OASIS Transcriptionist, you will transcribe recorded information from patient encounters into the electronic medical record for clinicians to review and sign.
Requirements
- Good computer skills
- Proficient typing speed at a minimum of 60 words per minute
- Proficiency with medical terminology
- Ability to speak, read and write the English language fluently
- Excellent listening skills and ability to understand diverse accents and dialects of clinicians and patients
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
- Ability to work independently
- Previous transcriptionist experience preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet tight deadline
