Terminal Labourer

Role Overview

The Terminal Labourer is responsible for the safe, efficient, and quality-conscious unloading and loading of hazardous and non-hazardous liquid products. The operator will ensure the work is performed safely and consistently per operating policies and procedures.

What You Will Do

Load/unload/blend hazardous and non-hazardous trucks and railcars, complete paperwork accurately, assist with tank transfers, perform maintenance duties, and interact with co-workers and visitors.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a high school degree or GED, 0-2 years of terminal operator experience, and basic computer skills. They must be able to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts, and be able to wear safety equipment and operate heavy equipment.

Requirements

• High School degree or GED
• 0-2 years of terminal operator experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) Card
• Basic computer skills
• Customer service focus
• Ability to distinguish colors
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or rotating shift
• Ability to become certified and operate a motor vehicle, track mobile, forklift, boiler, and similar equipment
• Ability to wear safety equipment
• Mechanically inclined and able to connect pipelines, hoses, drop tubes, safety cages, and similar equipment
• Ability to perform basic math, read and complete documents and other paperwork pertaining to non-hazardous and hazardous chemicals
