BAS Controls Technician

Role Overview

Support commercial, industrial, and energy-sector facilities across the Billings region as a BAS Controls Technician. This role involves hands-on work with DDC controls, system troubleshooting, new installations, and optimization of automated HVAC systems.

What You Will Do

Install, wire, and configure BAS/DDC controllers, sensors, and network components, perform equipment checkouts, point-to-point testing, and full system commissioning, troubleshoot HVAC control loops, network communication, and device-level issues, and modify and tune BAS programs.

Ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in BAS/DDC controls or HVAC automation, experience with Tridium, Alerton, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, or similar platforms, strong HVAC and mechanical systems knowledge, and excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in BAS/DDC controls or HVAC automation
• Experience with Tridium, Alerton, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, or similar platforms
• Strong HVAC and mechanical systems knowledge
• Competent with control wiring, low-voltage installation, and field calibration
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR
