BAS Controls Technician

Role Overview

A BAS Controls Technician is needed to support projects in the Providence metro and surrounding Rhode Island region. The role focuses on installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing modern DDC/BAS systems in commercial, healthcare, university, and municipal facilities.

What You Will Do

Install, configure, and commission BAS/DDC control systems, perform point-to-point verification and functional system testing, troubleshoot control panels, field devices, and network communication issues, and assist with programming changes, graphics updates, and logic adjustments.

Requirements

• Experience working as a BAS Controls Technician or HVAC Controls Specialist
• Strong troubleshooting ability with BAS/DDC systems
• Hands-on experience installing, wiring, and commissioning control components
• Familiarity with Tridium, Honeywell, Siemens, Alerton, or Distech systems
• Understanding of HVAC equipment (AHUs, boilers, chillers, VAVs, heat pumps)
• Clear communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a field team
