Job description
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will support assembly and machining process in achieving safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives. You will provide support for production coordinators, engineering technicians, and maintenance personnel. You will conceptualize, develop, and initiate process improvements and cost reductions.
Manage projects from concept and design; capital appropriation requests; and qualification within project schedules and budgets. Self-initiate corrective actions for Quality concerns based on effective problem-solving skills, as well as develop temporary and permanent solutions to manufacturing issues.
Strong organizational, project management, communication, and presentation skills to interface with upper management, suppliers, product engineering, and other manufacturing functions. Strong technical interpretation of drawing specifications and ability to apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements.
