Role Overview

Join Coram AI's ambitious team as the Platform Engineering Manager, leading deeply technical engineers on low-level systems, high-performance networking, concurrency, and edge compute. Manage the technical roadmap, architecture design, and team growth.

What You Will Do

Define technical roadmap, lead architecture design, manage multiple projects, conduct code reviews, and oversee development of IPC, messaging, and real-time data pipelines.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience managing engineers working on complex systems
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, MS or Ph.D. is a plus
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, operating systems, and networking
• Deep experience building or leading real-time or low-latency distributed systems
• Comfortable reading and writing production C++ code; ability to go low-level when required
• Experience working close to firmware or embedded systems
• Rust experience is a strong plus
• Strong architectural judgment and the ability to review complex system designs
• Proven ability to balance delivery speed with long-term system quality
• Experience with real-time Linux or kernel-level tuning is a plus
• Experience designing pub/sub or distributed messaging systems is a plus
• Experience building systems for constrained edge hardware is a plus
• Experience working on GPU-enabled edge platforms is a plus
