Geospatial Data Scientist (Expert)

Requirements

• Demonstrated mastery and employment of geographic and geospatial scientific principles, tools, and analytical techniques
• Experience with data science techniques, including logistic regression, vector, natural language processing, principal component analysis, clustering techniques, neural networks, deep learning models, image recognition, and algorithm employment or development
• Familiarity with agile software development project management frameworks, such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.
• Experience with tabular analysis, SQL, and scripting languages, such as Python, R, Julia, etc.
• Current, active TS/SCI security clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
• Experience working with IT, business, or operational metrics platforms, such as Splunk, Elastic, Confluence, etc.
• Certification in AWS (AI/ML specialty)
• Knowledge of the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TCPED) production chain
• Experience working within a DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) operational environment and with DoD/IC geospatial data repositories
• Familiarity with Army, DoD or IC GEOINT or Geospatial processes, policy, and programs
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools to deliver reports, graphics, and briefings
