HR Lead

Corning is a leading innovator in glass, ceramic, and materials science. The company is looking for an HR Lead to partner with the Plant HR Manager to ensure the right talent is in place to execute plant strategy and achieve desired business results. The role involves establishing and maintaining a positive work environment, implementing global HR business processes, and ensuring compliance with HR-related legal and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Full time MBA or Post gradation in HR
• 12-15 years work experience in a manufacturing organization in India
• Strong interpersonal skills – able to build trust quickly with employees at multiple levels in the organization
• Solid technical understanding of HR and ER
• Track record of delivering tangible business impact
• Strong business acumen – an interest in and ability to learn the business, understand business drivers, etc.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentations)
• Strong influence skills, experience influencing stakeholders with competing and/or diverging priorities, able to manage in a matrix organization
• Experience with problem solving and conflict resolution in unionized and Non-unionized work environment
