Job description
The Children's Rights Advocates role is a public/customer-facing position within the Children's Rights and Safeguarding Standards Service, ensuring the focus of multi-disciplinary work to help and protect children is on the child's lived experience and progress towards agreed outcomes. The role requires excellent group facilitation and chairing skills, experience in providing professional supervision and support, and a recognised social work qualification. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on developing social work practice, providing consultation to staff working with children, and contributing to the development of policy, procedure, and practice guidance.
