Senior Practitioner

The Senior Practitioner will work collaboratively to develop a Social Work Practitioner response within Adult Social Care to improve the workforce understanding and acceptance of Autism, transitions/preparing for adulthood for Autistic young people, and support Autistic people into employment. The role aims to implement and embed Social Work Practice to ensure that Cornwall Council Adult Social Care works in line with the National Strategy for Autistic Children, Young People and Adults.

Requirements

• Qualified social worker registered with Social Work England
• Prior experience of working with Autistic people
• Leadership and management skills
