HSE Manager

Role Overview

The HSE Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety of people, assets, and the site by preventing risks, ensuring safety, and managing emergency situations. They will deploy and enforce safety rules, procedures, and devices, and coordinate contractors and ensure links with competent authorities.

What You Will Do

The HSE Manager will be responsible for deploying and managing Group Safety Programs, Standards, and Policies on the site, identifying and analyzing hazardous situations and behaviors, and conducting and updating professional risk assessments.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in safety or occupational health, industrial hygiene, or environmental sciences, and at least 5 years of experience in safety in an industrial environment. They will also have excellent communication skills, decision-making skills, and leadership skills.

Requirements

• Master's degree in safety or occupational health, industrial hygiene, or environmental sciences
• OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certification (or equivalent regulatory training)
• Professional certifications EHS&S (CSP, STS, ETC.)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in safety in an industrial environment
• Confirmed experience in team management
• Excellent mastery of English and French
