Insect Production Research Assistant

Role Overview

We are looking for a responsible and highly motivated Insect Production Research Assistant to aid in the production of insects and maintenance of insect colonies for research purposes.

What You Will Do

Ensure that all material necessary for rearing insect colonies is prepared properly and on time. Responsible for all aspects of insect colony tasks, such as daily maintenance, diet preparation, egg collection, weekly production setup, insect staging, sanitation, etc.

Why It Might Be a Fit

H.S. diploma and up to 4 years’ experience or equivalent education and amounts of relevant experience. Experience in Entomology or Insect Rearing preferred. Ability to perform physical labor, strong work ethic, and excellent attention to detail.
