CoStar Group is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team, supporting multiple software products and brands across the organization. The ideal candidate is passionate about automating and leveraging DevOps principles, with a focus on operational excellence and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited, in-person, not for profit university or college
- 5+ years’ experience with managing heavy web traffic sites using mass scale architecture with a developer focus
- Solid sizing and estimation techniques for small to medium size tasks and projects
- Infrastructure as code using Cloudformation, Terraform or similar platforms
- Heavy experience using AWS or Azure or Google cloud
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes environments and supporting tooling
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts and practical application as it applies to improving workflows, observability and team efficiency
- Heavy scripting support with PowerShell or Bash
- Conceptual understanding of SQL and No SQL databases, with the ability to evaluate and select appropriate solutions based on performance, cost and technical fit.
