Senior Director, Solutions Engineering

Couchbase is looking for a Senior Director, Solutions Engineering to lead its APAC Sales team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in PreSales/Solution Engineering, with a strong technical background and leadership experience. The role will involve leading a team of Solution Engineers, developing a technical sales process, and serving as a bridge between the APAC field and global Product and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in PreSales/Solution Engineering
• 3+ years in a SE leadership role within a high-growth software company
• Technical expertise in APIs, cloud infrastructure, Python, and complex integrations
• Experience in hiring and mentoring a high-performing SE organization
• Ability to adapt sales methodologies and communication styles to fit local business cultures
