Sr Associate Demo Services Engineer

Role Overview

As a Sr Associate Demo Services Engineer at Coupa, you will be responsible for architecting and developing intelligent agents using Coupa Agent Studio to automate complex workflows. You will work with Solution Advisors to translate customer pain points into technical requirements for rapid prototyping and participate in discovery sessions to provide technical feasibility assessments for custom AI solutions.

What You Will Do

Your main responsibilities will include designing and building intelligent agents, utilizing Coupa Compose to build solution proof-of-concepts, and applying prompt engineering and LLM orchestration logic to ensure agents are accurate, context-aware, and performant. You will also build and connect prototypes via MCP, A2A, BYOA to diverse systems and data sources, and develop and maintain middleware/scripts to facilitate seamless data exchange via APIs and JSON/XML formats.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Administration (or related)
• 4+ years of progressive experience in Software Engineering, with a focus on enterprise applications and application modernization, preferably within the technology or SAAS
• Full Stack Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience across the full application stack (front-end, back-end, database, infrastructure)
• Spend Management industry experience
• Hands-on experience using AI related technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple development projects concurrently
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
• Strong relationship-building, influencing, and teamwork skills
• Experience with the Coupa platform, specifically the App Marketplace or Coupa App Studio
• Knowledge of using Coupa Compose, Agent Studio, Navi is an asset
