Sr. Lead Software Engineer

Role Overview

As a Sr. Lead Software Engineer, you will contribute to complex multi-dimensional projects, work on new concepts, practices, and techniques for functional and architectural initiatives, and provide technical and architectural guidance to others in the broader engineering group.

What You Will Do

Lead the design and development of new reusable architecture components and major functional upgrades for the Coupa Application Platform, work with peers to sponsor design and architectural changes, and provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers, designers, and developers.

Requirements

• 10+ years system implementation experience in a large IT organization
• 8+ years of experience developing business applications
• 5+ years defining high-level design for one or more business domains
• 5+ years of experience interpreting and predicting outcomes of existing business processes and current technology solutions
• Broad knowledge of middleware/application integration products
• Demonstrated proficiency in understanding and executing enterprise architecture and software development life cycle methodologies
