Job Description
McKesson is a Fortune 10 company that touches virtually every aspect of healthcare. We are looking for a Sr. Systems Engineer to support and enhance our on-premise and cloud applications, ensuring reliable delivery, performance, and availability across our platforms.
Requirements
- Serve as a team leader and mentor
- Design strategies to improve application availability, performance, and overall system health
- Diagnose and resolve complex application issues
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term fixes
- Identify and resolve recurring incidents to reduce mean time to resolution
- Support application deployments and DevOps workflows
- Create and refine processes to meet SLO/SLA targets
- Develop, maintain, and automate Disaster Recovery documentation
- Manage application-related data tasks, including SQL queries, stored procedures, and jobs
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
- Provide documentation and evidence for annual audits
