Process Engineer (Manufacturing)

Role Overview

As a Process Engineer at Medtronic, you will lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world. You will work in a manufacturing area, providing technical engineering support and recommending equipment and process modifications to meet quality standards and improve production efficiencies.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities may include providing technical engineering support, recommending equipment and process modifications, integrating equipment and material capabilities, reviewing product development requirements, and leading the innovation, development, and/or optimization of new manufacturing concepts, processes, and procedures.

This role requires a strong background in technical fields, experience in manufacturing environments, and hands-on experience using Minitab for data analysis and Statistical Process Control (SPC) implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong written and verbal proficiency in English and Malay, and be able to travel internationally for extended periods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technical fields such as Biomedical, Electrical/ Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in medical devices or other regulated industries
• Hands-on experience using Minitab for data analysis and Statistical Process Control (SPC) implementation
• Experience in Lean Six Sigma methodology and continuous improvement programs
• Strong written and verbal proficiency in English and Malay
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally for extended periods
