- Designing plant layouts for conveying technology in the automotive sector with a focus on body-in-white, paint, and final assembly
- Implementing layouts according to customer requirements or internal coordination
- Incorporating existing conveying technology and plant components into layouts
- Taking measurements at the customer's site
- Creating layouts for various modification steps
- Supporting the creation of load sheets and plant specifications
- Checking layouts for collisions with adjacent workshops
- Documenting various layouts in the customer system
- Coordinating and checking interdepartmental layouts in pre-planning
- Coordinating with adjacent workshops, suppliers, and customers throughout the project period
These Qualifications You Should Bring
- Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering / Design or Technical Drawing
- First professional experience in the automotive sector in the layout field
- Knowledge of layout planning
- Excellent conceptual, methodological, and analytical skills
- Independent, structured work style and solution-oriented approach
- Confident and target-group-oriented appearance and professional handling of customers
- Self-initiative, communication strength, conflict resolution, and assertiveness as well as goal-orientation in measure pursuit
- You bring the necessary mobility readiness for our diverse projects
- You are a team player with high performance capacity and entrepreneurial thinking
- A secure handling of CAD layout programs Microstation incl. TriCad and LuArtX or Auto-CAD
- Ideally knowledge in handling NavisWorks or Interviews3D
- German and English skills as well as very good knowledge in MS-Office complete your profile
