Senior Java/Kotlin Engineer

Role Overview

What You Will Do

Design and build high-performance, cloud-native services with Spring Boot in Java 21+ and/or Kotlin, set up CI/CD pipelines, and deploy via GitOps with Kubernetes and ArgoCD on Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer (HBO/WO or equivalent level)
• Strong knowledge of Java (21+) and/or Kotlin
• Experience with Spring Boot, cloud-native development, and event-driven architecture
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and setting up CI/CD pipelines via GitOps
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging technologies
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Plus: knowledge of frontend frameworks like Angular or React for full-stack ownership
• You speak fluent Dutch and are communicatively strong
• You enjoy sharing knowledge and can explain technical choices on various levels
