
Job description
The Geophysicist will be responsible for applying technical evaluations to the development and production of oil and gas reservoirs to obtain a high economic recovery. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support optimal asset development and operations, leveraging fundamental geoscience skills in petroleum systems, stratigraphy and basin studies.
Generate integrated structural and stratigraphic interpretations using seismic and other subsurface geological and geophysical data. Maintain asset characterizations of hydrocarbon volumes, subsurface controls and risks and integrated recovery expectations.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology, Geophysics or related field of study and 5-10 years of Exploration & Production (E&P) or relevant geoscience experience. Proficiency with Kingdom software is also required.
