Job description
The Geotech will be responsible for data and project management associated with the geoscience team. The position is directly responsible for data quality control, managing databases, support of GIS mapping and analysis, and delivery of files, reports and analysis to support technical work within the geoscience team as well as supporting daily oil & gas operations.
Providing technical support and implementing best workflow practices for geoscientists, creating and managing well and seismic projects, importing/exporting and quality control of seismic, well, and culture data, providing GIS software application support, and assisting teams with generating maps and managing and visualizing spatial data.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of oil & gas or related industry experience, experience with Petra and Kingdom software packages, and proficiency with O&G data sources like IHS, Enverus and TGS.
