Custodial Technician

The Custodial Technician plays a vital role in supporting the YMCA's mission by ensuring clean, safe, and well-maintained facilities that foster a positive and welcoming environment for all members, staff, and guests.

Requirements

• Perform daily custodial duties including mopping, dusting, restroom sanitization, window washing, vacuuming, trash removal, and laundry services.
• Clean and sanitize fitness equipment and locker rooms; complete seasonal tasks such as snow removal and deep cleaning.
• Operate specialized motorized and non-motorized cleaning equipment; ensure safe transport and handling of equipment to multiple YMCA facilities using a trailer.
• Support and perform minor building maintenance and general facility repairs; assist with mechanical and system upkeep under supervision.
• Maintain exterior grounds by removing litter, organizing materials, and supporting landscape upkeep.
