Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop Engineer

Role Overview

The Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop Engineer will provide technical assistance to users of IT systems, design solutions, and provide system expertise in a specific technology. The role involves maintaining and supervising infrastructure components, providing application support, and deploying applications.

What You Will Do

The engineer will maintain and supervise infrastructure components, provide application support for internal clients, deploy applications, debug and tackle related problems on XenApp and XenDesktop, and manage patching for applications and operating systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in supporting a Windows multi-user environment
• Proven design, administrator and 3rd level support experience in a Citrix environment
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills
• SCCM experience including baseline management and custom reporting
• Operational knowledge of App-V, MSI and other packaging/scripting technologies
• Operational knowledge on Netscaler ADC
• Experienced with Microsoft 365 Suite
• Good knowledge of IT Security Principals and IT Service Management
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to do in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Sufficient knowledge of the common office applications to be able to deliver application support to end-users
• Fluent in French/English or Dutch/English or Polish/English
