
Job description
As a Solutions Architect - CREST New Technology, you will lead the migration of CREST from COBOL programs to new technology capable of running on a commoditised platform such as Linux. You will work in collaboration with the Euroclear Enterprise Architecture team, CREST application architects, and other parties to define options and provide recommendations for migration. You will deliver a coherent end-to-end IT solution that meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
Responsibilities include defining options and providing recommendations for migration, delivering a coherent end-to-end IT solution, ensuring alignment with Enterprise engineering and architecture standards, collaborating with security to ensure security standards are met, establishing infrastructure requirements, and leading the implementation of prototypes and follow-on work.
We require our next Solution Architect - CREST New Technology to possess strong analytical and systems architecture/design skills, database design skills, EDA technology skills, commodity platform skills, and hands-on Object Oriented Design and Java programming skills. You will have the ability to motivate and enthuse colleagues, be a stand-out colleague and role model, and possess inspiring communication and presentation skills.
