The Manufacturing Engineering Specialist will provide technical support for manufactured product orders, manage suppliers, and improve production processes to maximize quality and reliability. They will work with internal teams and suppliers to resolve process deviations, implement preventative actions, and optimize production layouts. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least three years of related manufacturing experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or experience related manufacturing fields
- Three (3) or more years of related technical manufacturing experience
- Experience in a highly complex, highly regulated, low volume manufacturing environment
- Problem solving, error prevention, and process improvement in complex manufacturing environments
- Experience in Supply Chain Management
- Experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Project
- Strong organizational, analytical, and administrative abilities
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written/presentational skills
- Comfortable in a matrix organizational structure
- Leader, Collaborator, Communicator
- Ability to convert business needs / requirements into executable strategies
- Excellent Customer service skills with a strong understanding of Customer relationship building
- Self-starter; self-motivator; willing to do what it takes to get the job done
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance
