
Job description
The Chief Engineer is responsible for leading a team, managing the engineering program, and administering the engineering department. They will perform at the highest ethical standards and reflect the core values of C&W. The Chief Engineer will plan, implement, coordinate, and supervise all mechanical operations, maintenance, communications, energy management, and manpower development programs for assigned properties.
The Chief Engineer will supervise engineers and maintenance staff, ensure performance management, and develop team members. They will also manage operational accounts, conduct regular inspections, and recommend improvements for preventive maintenance programs.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of related work experience in a commercial property setting. They will have strong communication, interpersonal, and technical skills, as well as leadership abilities. The candidate will also have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and relevant licenses or certifications.
