Job description
The Chief Engineer is responsible for the effective daily leadership of their staff, managing the engineering program to the highest level of quality work and customer service. They will plan, implement, coordinate, and supervise all mechanical operations, maintenance, communications, energy management, and manpower development programs for assigned properties.
The Chief Engineer will supervise engineers and maintenance staff, ensure performance management, and develop team members. They will also manage operational accounts, conduct regular inspections, and develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of related work experience in a commercial property setting, with a deep understanding of building systems, technical proficiency, and leadership skills.
