WELDER / FABRICATOR M-F / 5A-1:30P

Successful applicant will conduct metal (primarily steel) fabrication and welding on a daily basis, responsible for various types of structural welding, including preparation, welding, and finishing operations. Must be a team player, able to easily interact with others, have a solid work ethic, and be willing to work at remote job sites on occasion.

Requirements

• Proficient in modern welding techniques and equipment
• Good working knowledge of wire and filler material applications for various steel alloys and aluminum
• Problem analysis and resolution
• Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Must be familiar with product assembly and application
• Must have working knowledge welding shop operations
• Must have strong oral communication skills
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations
• Successful applicant will be safety conscious and have good housekeeping practices
• Able to work with minimum supervision and capable of self-checking for completeness and accuracy of work produced
