Job Description
Senior Medical Director to oversee medical initiatives in the UK and contribute to global medical affairs strategies. Responsible for providing medical support and collaborating with teams to ensure high strategic and scientific standards. Represent the company externally through presentations and interactions with opinion leaders.
Requirements
- MD/MBBS with strong Medical Affairs experience
- Cardiovascular experience preferred, clinical experience desirable
- 7 years of pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
- Medical Affairs experience in the UK
- Background in academic medicine, clinical research, and familiarity with study design, biostatistics and epidemiology desirable
- Analytical and articulate in both oral and writing skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to communicate well with others at varying professional levels
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory authorization requirements and other key local authorities in the regional pharmaceutical industry
- Business fluent in English. Knowledge of other European languages are a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
