Job Description
A Tax Senior Accountant role in an FCMG industrial and trading company with strong technical understanding of local tax laws, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to navigate complexities of the industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of proven work experience in tax accounting in Egypt, preferably within multinational or large local companies, and ideally with some exposure to the FCMG sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Egyptian tax laws and regulations (Income Tax Law 91/2005, VAT Law 67/2016 and its amendments, Stamp Tax Law 111/1980, etc.).
- Experience in preparing and filing various tax returns and dealing with the Egyptian Tax Authority.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
