System Engineer I

Role Overview

As a System Engineer I, you will be responsible for performing manual testing of medical device software applications and systems, including end-to-end integration workflows. You will analyze software functionality and workflows to identify potential issues and ensure alignment with product requirements.

What You Will Do

You will create, review, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans. You will document and report system issues clearly, accurately, and concisely, providing sufficient detail for engineering teams to replicate and resolve.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (any relevant discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Computer Science, etc.)
• Strong expertise in manual testing for medical device software systems
• Strong analytical thinking to identify diverse workflows, design effective test scenarios, and optimize test coverage
• Proven experience in software system integration testing
• Proven experience in end-to-end testing
• Experience in workflow-based testing and validation
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of automation concepts and testing practices
• Familiarity with lab workflow automation
