Electrician 2

Role Overview

An Electrician 2 is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and safety systems in oil and gas production environments.

What You Will Do

Run cable tray and install cables, install cable glands and work with transit systems, install conduit and seals, terminate power and control wiring under supervision, and complete all required paperwork.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and independently without direct supervision, and have a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 3+ years of electrical experience
• Working knowledge of oil and gas production operations (training available)
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently without direct supervision
• Physical requirements: Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, and perform bending and stooping
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including the use of a respirator
• Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms
