Quality Technician

The Quality Technician tests and inspects products at various stages of the production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.

Requirements

• Two years of post-high school education; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures, specifications, and technical procedures.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• comfortable working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Must be at least intermediate skill level in Excel.
• Must be able to pass preemployment background, drug/alcohol, and physical screenings
• Must be able to work independently, as a team, and be able to work with both internal and external customers
• Ability to think strategically and problem solve
