EHS Specialist

Role Overview

The EHS Specialist is responsible for monitoring, implementing, and maintaining Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance during the transition phase from construction to operations. This role ensures that all EHS systems, processes, and controls remain compliant, effective, and ready for operational use at the Day One data center.

What You Will Do

Develop, implement, and maintain the EHS Management System, ensure construction activities comply with EHS requirements, identify workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement control measures, review and monitor Job Safety Analysis, Risk Assessments, and Permit to Work.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an EHS role
• Mandatory certification as an EHS professional, such as AK3U
• Demonstrated knowledge of applicable EHS laws, regulations, and standards
• Proven ability to identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement effective risk control measures
• Strong communication and leadership skills
