Conseiller principal/Directeur Adjoint, Services-conseils, comptabilité et divulgation financière

We are seeking a Senior Advisor/Director to join our Advisory, Accounting and Financial Reporting Services team in Montreal. As a senior advisor or director, you will contribute to the planning and execution of advisory projects in accounting and financial reporting, and provide services to clients in the National Capital Region and the Quebec market. You will also contribute to market and reputation initiatives, including developing new service lines and marketing campaigns within the practice.

Requirements

• Has a CPA or equivalent designation OR is in the process of obtaining a CPA designation.
• Has at least two years of relevant professional experience.
• Has strong technical accounting skills (GAAP, control certification, securities and regulation, audit) and experience and knowledge in ASPE, IFRS, US GAAP, internal controls (CSOX/PCAOB) and risks.
• Has experience in finance, particularly in financial research, note writing, and related processes.
• Ability to think from a strategic point of view (options available, advantages/disadvantages of different options)
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills
• Problem solving (ability to "find" and "fix" problems)
• Project management discipline and structure
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proven ability to assume all project management responsibilities
