The Manager, Business Development & Partnerships will lead the expansion of ZAPI Group’s battery charging solutions in North America. This role requires a hunter mentality and must be hungry to identify, pursue, and win opportunities with new targeted motive and stationary OEMs.
Requirements
- Education in Business or Engineering with 10 or more years of experience in business development or product management fields, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
- Technical experience selling or promoting batteries or battery chargers, including lead acid and lithium systems is a plus.
- Experience with a B2B OEM selling model and three-to-five-year development cycles.
- Experience introducing OEM customers to new products and technology innovations on motive electrification projects.
- Proven experience with engaging with C-suite leaders.
- Proven track record of executing major partnership agreements that generate significant revenue and margin opportunities or provide leverage to the organization as a means to accomplish growth projections.
- Excellent public communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to travel frequently within North America and Internationally (30-50%); must live near an airport hub of a major airline
- Strong priority-setting skills.
- Prior experience with Salesforce or similar application.
- Proven collaborative and creative work style to develop solutions and winning strategies.
