Merkle is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve AWS infrastructure at scale, with responsibilities including designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, building end-to-end observability, and enforcing security controls across the environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years' hands-on experience with large-scale AWS production environments
- Deep proficiency with Kubernetes and EKS
- Strong IaC skills with Terraform; Helm proficiency for Kubernetes package management
- Proven CI/CD experience with Jenkins and GitHub
- Hands-on experience with the Elastic Stack and log ingestion pipelines at scale
- Experience with New Relic for APM and infrastructure monitoring
- Proficiency in Python and Bash; additional languages a plus
- Solid grasp of AWS security services: GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF, Shield, KMS, IAM
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault for secrets management
- Strong networking fundamentals in cloud-native environments
- Fluent English; strong written and verbal communication
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience
