We are recruiting for a motivated Epic Instructional Designer I to join our team! The role is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering communication and education for users of Epic (the electronic health record) used at Denver Health.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years experience working in adult education required
- Experience in healthcare is preferred
- Ability to develop strong relationships and build buy-in and collaborate successfully with a wide variety of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), stakeholders and to communicate with both technical and non-technical employees across the organization
- Adult learning theory application
- Good communication and organizational skills are a requirement
- Excellent oral and written presentation and communications skills
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence others without direct lines of authority
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
- Instructional writing for digital media
- The ability to prioritize and make good decisions with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of specific healthcare industry Epic (or other EHR) applications preferred
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite products preferred
