Neurocritical Care APP Nocturnist (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)

We are recruiting for a motivated Neurocritical Care APP Nocturnist (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our team! The role involves performing routine physical and neurologic examinations, admitting patients to the neurocritical care unit, and performing core ICU procedures. The APP will operate under high autonomy, provide independent billing at night, and collaborate closely with NCCU/SICU nurses and techs, Neurosurgery APPs, and Surgical and Medical Intensive Care providers.

Requirements

• Master's Degree for physician assistant and successful completion of certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
• 1-3 years Related clinical experience preferred
• PA-Physician Assistant - State Medical Board Required
• PAC-Certified Physician Assistant - NCCPA - National Commission for Certifying Agencies Required
• BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association or American Red Cross Required
