Job Description
Descript is building an AI-powered platform for easy audio and video content creation. They are seeking Software Engineers at the mid-career, senior, and staff levels to join agent teams focused on building an agentic video editing experience. This is an opportunity to work on projects related to video editing quality, user experience, product development, and LLM integration.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional product engineering or fullstack experience
- Strong CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, databases)
- Solid understanding of React
- Experience with Typescript, React, and RESTful APIs
- Experience building creative tools (a plus)
- Experience building agents and working with EVALs infrastructure (a plus)
