
Job description
The Underwriting Department is seeking an underwriter to contribute to members' and clients' peace of mind by ensuring they're well protected in the event of an unexpected situation. The team will help develop expertise in underwriting and life and health insurance, as well as critical thinking skills.
Analyze medical, personal and financial information to assess risk, negotiate with reinsurers, communicate with stakeholders, and develop operational processes.
The role requires underwriting experience, knowledge of underwriting standards and governance documents, and knowledge of the healthcare sector. French language proficiency is required, and advanced English proficiency is necessary due to the nature of the duties.
