Job Description
The Accounting Policy Business Advisor provides accounting advisory and consulting services to the business, business finance and financial reporting teams in the Americas region. The role involves monitoring and influencing US GAAP standard-setting, educating internal stakeholders, and documenting and reviewing structured transactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Management
- Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Proven experience in the financial services sector with a focus on financial instrument classification topics
- Technical knowledge of US GAAP with some exposure to IFRS
- Experience managing complex relationships with key senior stakeholders
- Strong executive messaging skills
